Last night we got at least 3 inches of wet heavy snow. This occurred after getting about the same amount of snow Monday morning. That snow melted on Tuesday for the most part.

Apparently this is a pacific storm front and it is wreaking havoc across the western US. The good part is that we are getting water from it and we need as much as we can get.

On Sunday our friends Holly and Aaron spent the afternoon helping me get some grass seed in the ground. It was hard work but we got it done and just before this storm. I’m excited and hopeful that it sprouts and grows.

Aaron dug two holes for our chokecherry bushes. They should grow to 9 feet tall. Currently they are about 2 feet with lovely red colored leaves. Kate has been brushing the snow off of them and covering them with chairs during the storms.
